Occupational Hazards of Being A Reader

While reading, I’ve begun to observe a few occupational hazards as a reader that I have encountered.

Here are a few I’ve noticed.

1. Disappointing endings–especially these. A disappointing ending usually makes me want to forget the ending as soon as possible. I remedy this by reading many books with happy endings.

2. Character deaths (e.g. Tris, Teresa, Dobby)

3. Disappointing film adaptions

4. Disagreements of character decisions

5. Unrelatable protagonists
